Sea of Gray!

Finds No. 4

These optical illusions, sculptures that when placed by a mirrored cylinder make much more sense. The artist’s name is Jonty Hurwitz and he has a thing for Winking Smiley Turbans – @;-) which is very cool to me. Seen here.

The La Sardina Capri Saracena Camera, spotted here, which would make summer days much more fun.

This image is from the front page of Anna Emilia Laitinen’s website. She’s a talented illustrator and her work often graces the pages of Design*Sponge.

The Jealous Curator, who I really like, featured the work of Robert Townsend. These are watercolors, people! (he did the birthday candles at the top of this page too).

Belgian photographer Rita Willaert took pictures of these painted homes in Burkina Faso, a public art/spiritual/traditional ritual carried out by women in the Gurunsi community. Seen here.
